SOUTH INDIAN CINE & TV ACTION SPECIAL EFFECTS WORKERS UNION

The union was founded in 1995 and is governed by the Labour Act of 1948.
It was founded with the goal of forming a unified organisation that would advocate for the rights of special effects professionals in South Indian films.

Almost every Indian film ever produced has included members of our union. Our members are also active in television and theatre productions. This union has a total of 90 members, with masters and assistants being represented and this number is ever increasing.

We collaborate with members to guarantee that in the high-risk film special effects industry; safety, insurance and compensation rights are not overlooked.
